HÔTEL LE
VAL D'ISÈRE

(VAL D’ISÈRE · SAVOIE · 2020)

(HOTEL ⏐ RESTAURANT ⏐ SPA)

Le Val d'Isère: a historic hotel in the village, put into service in 1968, at the time of delivery of the Thovex project. Under the leadership of Paul Raymond, a strong personality in the village at that time, in the 70s and 80s it became a must for the French jet-set.

It housed L'Aventure, the first festive establishment of Luc Reversade, founder of Folie Douce, where generations of avalins and visitors to the village shared intense nights, often ending in the outdoor swimming pool, on the large central terrace of 500 m² that the hotel has and overlooking the main square.

The era of energy carelessness being over, we covered this swimming pool in 2021, with a beautiful wooden frame, covered with slates, in the style of a swimming pool chalet. The large south windows allow you to swim in a Luzerne stone pool, with an ascending view of the Charlet rock and the Tête de Solaise. Around the swimming pool there is a gym, a sauna, a jacuzzi and a beauty and well-being institute: Les Cabanes d'Elsa.

USER-FRIENDLY

Actima has retained the ownership and operation of this historic establishment, with an intermediate positioning of 3 stars which could be 4 stars due to the quality of its facilities but a warm family service, without excess, making it possible to offer relatively accessible prices for Val of Isère. It is a source of pride for us to have given it the warm life that its history and central location deserve.
